WAH-WAH Australia, with the help of Sacred Bones Records, brings Mother Earth’s Plantasia by Mort Garson to life.
First released in 1976, Plantasia was composed entirely on a Moog synthesiser, designed as “warm earth music for plants… and the people that love them.” Originally given away with plant purchases from Mother Earth nursery in Los Angeles, the album became a cult favourite among green thumbs and electronic music enthusiasts alike. Nearly 50 years later, its legacy continues to grow—just like the houseplants it was made for.
